Hi, welcome to my blog this is my journey to becoming my goal weight of what I was in high school. Yes I know that the first year I did some good but my weight went up and down, basically nowhere. now in my 2nd year of weight loss and giving it my all this year
Lets go back in time and meet me the author of this blog, I was born in ann arbor Michigan on father’s day 31 years ago. June of 79. Yes this means I’ll be 32 this year. This only leaves me 8 years to reach my goal of being my goal weight by age 40. I grew up in the small town of Stockbridge, Michigan. I was shy and had selective friends, everyone called me a sweetheart but yet no boyfriends till college and even then it did not last. I stayed somewhat active in high school doing track for 3 years.
After graduation my weight built on, going to community college at JCC while living at home then going to CMU where i stayed in dorms. I didn’t take advantage of the gym there which I should have . By the end of college I was up to 180.
Then I left college and started a career as a local reporter for the local paper doing feature stories and covering meetings, and since this did not pay well I had other side jobs too. All this while living back at home which was not the best environment for a dieter due to mom making baked goods a lot and giving into my dad’s whims.
Currently I am single living at home with my mom, lost my dad this year so it’s just the two of us. and working my way to being a better healthier person. I have been a petsitter for 7 years and I love it.
